Toronto-based ad and marketing tech company StackAdapt has appointed Patrick McGill as Director, Client Services - Political, advising agencies, campaigns and organizations how to optimize their ad investment.StackAdapt operates a multi-channel programmatic ad platform with a number of insights analytics products included a self-service footfall attribution solution, TV measurement options via a partnership with omniscreen TV measurement provider Samba TV; a direct integration with voter and consumer data provider L2; and - in April this year - new UX, reporting and analysis tools.
McGill (pictured) is an experienced digital strategist in political advertising, with more than a decade advising candidates, issue groups, independent expenditures and ballot measures. He joins following three years leading the political account management team at The Trade Desk; and earlier worked at Democratic digital firms Bully Pulpit Interactive and Blueprint Interactive, with a focus on US Senate races.
