In Manchester, UK, The Insights Family founder Nick Richardson has joined digital product creation and remote collaboration models specialist Tribes, as a Non-Executive Director.Tribes says it enjoyed a 'record-breaking' year in 2024, with the rapid growth of its proprietary DevCheck platform, and of its developer network which now boasts more than 20,000 tech professionals. Version 2 of DevCheck is rolling out now.
Launched in 2017 as Kids Insights and quickly attracting its first funding, Richardson's firm soon launched in the US, Europe and India - it then became The Insights People and subsequently The Insights Family. Its revenues now exceed £4m and it has panels in 22 countries. Last year saw two major developments, an extension of coverage to include tracking of consumers aged 19-30; and the establishment of a ventures unit called TIF Labs, which Richardson will lead and which will explore opportunities including potential acquisitions, partnerships and developments in new technology.
