SVP Hire for Angus Reid Group

Canada's Angus Reid Group has appointed former Leger and Ipsos researcher Paige Waldie (formerly Schoenfeld) as SVP of Research, strengthening its leadership in Western Canada.

Angus Reid Group (ARG) is now part of the Rival Group of companies, which is headquartered in Vancouver with offices across North America, and combines proprietary research technology, panels and consultancy. ARG itself focuses on market research and public opinion polling, and Rival Group also includes mobile-first conversational research platform Rival Technologies, and full-service research consultancy Reach3 Insights.

Waldie (pictured) spent around a decade at Ipsos, based in Calgary, and rising to VP by 2021 - she then joined Leger in the same role, and stayed for nearly four years, latterly as an SVP. She is currently a Canadian representative for ESOMAR. Her experience includes working with companies, governments and nonprofits to design, analyze and communicate research to drive decision-making.
