Cross-platform TV ad measurement company iSpot has appointed Julie Van Ullen, previously CRO at Rakuten Rewards, as its President and Chief Revenue Officer. Founded in Bellevue, Washington in 2012 and with offices in major cities across the US, iSpot measures all phases of the TV advertising lifecycle in real time, from creative testing and audience verification to business outcomes. This includes TV-device impressions and second-by-second attention for all TV ads across linear, time-shifted, VOD, streaming and OOH environments. Its data is offered as one of the emerging alternative ad currencies.to Nielsen, and has recently been re-accredited by the 'JIC', a collaborative forum of US media buyers and video suppliers. In the past c.two years it has bought TV ad impact measurement company 605 and added a dedicated streaming measurement offering.

Van Ullen (pictured) brings experience from a career focused on helping global brands, media companies, and premium platforms leverage advertising and technology to achieve measurable outcomes and drive deeper engagement with consumers. She joins from eCommerce loyalty company Rakuten Rewards, where as CRO she helped lead the organization and drive 135% revenue growth. She also helped lead the roll-out of new advertising solutions, the integration of advanced measurement and data capabilities, and the scaling of strategic partnerships with brands, agencies, and platforms. Prior to Rakuten she held key buy- and sell-side leadership positions at FreeWheel and OpenX; and she has also worked on the Board of Directors for the IAB, helping to shape industry standards.
In her new role she will oversee a wide range of functions including sales, marketing and customer success, driving media partnerships and business development, and leading client-focused data science teams.
