Semrush Revenue Up 15% in Q3

Boston, US-based online visibility platform Semrush Holdings has reported 15% revenue growth to $112.1m in the third quarter, but made a loss from operations of $4.5m, compared to income of $1.7m a year earlier.

Bill WagnerSemrush, which also has two more US offices and eight across Europe, provides SEO, advertising, content, social media and competitive research campaigns from one platform / interface, as well as cross-channel measurement and optimization of digital ad campaigns. The company is an investor in researcher MFour, and the owner of competitive intelligence automation specialist Kompyte. Already since the start of Q4 it has strengthened its senior team with the appointments of Abby Miller as Chief Customer Officer and Tara Haas as Chief of Staff; and has rolled out Semrush Enterprise Site Intelligence, a monitoring solution claiming to future-proof web presence for a 'new era of AI and search.'

The third quarter saw success among larger customers: those paying more than $10,000 a year grew in number by 30%, and those paying more than $50,000 by 72%. It was also marked by the release of Semrush One, which unites traditional SEO and AI Search into a single offering to help brands measure and grow performance across all types of engine; the general availability of web site health and monitoring solution Semrush Enterprise Site Intelligence; and the launch of Semrush Enterprise AI Visibility Index, providing enterprises with a definitive benchmark to measure brand performance across ChatGPT and Google AI Mode.

For the full year 2025, the firm is predicting revenue in a range of $443.5 to $445.5 million, representing growth of around 18% year-on-year; and full year non-GAAP operating margin of c.12%.
