Launched in 2016 by former Cint US MD Michael McCrary, PureSpectrum provides a programmatic marketplace, driving more than a million survey sessions worldwide each day; and a sample management platform which includes the PureScore respondent-level scoring system - designed to block 'low-quality' respondents from taking surveys - as well as anti-fraud features PureText and PurePrice. The firm, which is headquartered in Westlake Village, California, recently extended its partnership with experience management (XM) giant Qualtrics, to develop and launch advanced synthetic research capabilities.
Kobeissi brings a combination of hands-on operational and commercial experience, with in-depth regional expertise. He founded Research on Mobile, acquired by Canadian trend tracking and prediction tech firm RIWI in 2022. Earlier he worked in leadership roles for panel and digital research firms including On Device and Toluna.
PureSpectrum's EVP for EMEA Andy Cayton says of the expansion: 'Kobeissi will establish PureSpectrum as the leading sampling platform across the Middle East and Africa. Our goal is not to just enter the market, we're committing to it, investing in it, and building for the long term.'
