Chan To Revitalise Hong Kong TV Ratings

T.S. Chan CSM Media Research has appointed T.S. Chan as MD of its Hong Kong business. Chan will be responsible for setting up and maintaining the TV Rating operation in Hong Kong SAR, and will also act as the Deputy MD for CSM China.

He has worked in advertising for more than 27 years, starting in Hong Kong, and has held senior management posts in several international advertising agencies in both Hong Kong and China. He played a key role in establishing the standard for TV advertising currency in China. Most recently, he acted as a strategic consultant for TV stations in China.

His new role at CSM HK Limited will first involve him in setting up a revitalized TV rating system in Hong Kong. He will report to Paul Wang, Managing Director of CSM Media Research, who says 'T. S. brings with him a wealth of media industry expertise, as well as advertising agency experiences that we need to drive forward our business in Hong Kong'. Chan says he is excited to be returning to his 'home town' to help CSM build its business there.
