Customer feedback and CX specialist Alchemer has promoted Ryan Tamminga to Chief Customer Officer (CCO), leading its global customer strategy and overseeing customer success, support and services.

Founded in 2006 as SurveyGizmo, Alchemer is a KKR portfolio company and provides survey, workflow, audience, communication and analysis tools, integrated into common business systems across the enterprise. For the last two years it has also offered full service research via a team called Alchemer Research Solutions.
Tamminga joined Alchemer in 2019 with more than twenty years of product and services experience. He led teams at consulting firms Deloitte and Accenture, before joining ReedGroup where he served as VP of Professional Services. At Alchemer, latterly as SVP of Customer Success and Product, he has been instrumental in scaling customer programs to support geographical expansion, and growing the customer success organization from a small group to more than 80 team members.
In the new role, Tamminga also oversees product management and user experience, which the firm says will ensure the voice of the customer drives its product decisions and innovation. His key priorities include strengthening customer engagement across the full lifecycle, scaling support programs, expanding value realization initiatives and delivering an 'AI-rich roadmap.'
CEO Martin Mrugal points to Tamminga's 'passion for improving processes and solving complex customer challenges,' and comments: 'Ryan's clear vision for how we can better serve customers is core to our mission. This promotion reflects his strong leadership as well as our strategic priority to continue to put customers at the forefront of everything we do.'
