Acquisitive European-based panels firm Norstat has appointed Cornelius Nergård as Head of Consumer Panels, and Fredrik Lundin as Head of M&A.

Nergård worked in the energy sector, as a Risk and Opportunity Analyst at offshore energy company Subsea7, then overseeing the electricity portfolio at renewables firm Lyse. For the last decade he has helped to drive growth and digital transformation across major Nordic companies Hafslund Strøm and SATS - the last as Nordic Head of Digital Product Development. In his new role, he will focus on panellist engagement, new technologies, and setting standards for quality and transparency.
Lundin brings more than ten years' experience in strategy and M&A, including eighteen months as a consultant in corporate finance at Deloitte, four years in M&A at industrial investment company Orkla, and most recently four as an investment manager at electricity generation company Statkraft. He joins a company which in the last year has acquired Rotterdam-based Sample Solutions, Brazil-based panels firm Offerwise, Prague-headquartered National Sample, and Swiss fieldwork and panels provider DemoSCOPE - and is said to have a number of further deals inder consideration.
