ZoomInfo Founder Joins YipitData Board

Financial sector alternative data provider YipitData has appointed Henry Schuck, founder and CEO of business data firm ZoomInfo, to its Board of Directors.

YipitData is headquartered in New York, was founded in 2013 by current CEO Vinicius Vacanti and is now valued at over $1 billion, having attracted huge investments over a number of years. The firm analyses information from receipts, credit cards, the web, public earnings announcements and a series of other datasets to track company performance and customer behavior, incrementing the traditional quant market analytics used by financial professionals. Its key customers include investment funds and large corporations, and sectors covered include disruptive spaces such as ridesharing, e-commerce marketplaces, payments and streaming video.

Schuck (pictured) brings more than two decades' experience of building and scaling data-driven technology platforms, most of it from publicly-traded b2b intelligence specialist ZoomInfo, which he founded in 2007. 'Henry built one of the most successful data platforms of our time,' states Vacanti. 'He understands what it takes to scale proprietary data, build customer relationships, and navigate the complexities of growth at every stage. As we continue expanding our products and reach, his perspective will be invaluable.' Schuck says he believes Yipit's strong market position, founded on a combination of analytical rigor and customer trust, gives it 'substantial room to expand both the footprint and the impact of the business.'

With the appointment comes the news that ZoomInfo will adopt YipitData subsidiary SpendHound, which provides SaaS spend management solutions.
