Senior Sales Hires for Automotive Insight

Manchester, UK based Automotive Insight Group has appointed former AutoTrader Group Sales Director Darren Moon as Strategic Partnership Director; and Ian Penny, former Sales Director of Factor Sales, as Strategic Product Advisor.

Automotive Insights was established only in February this year and has rapidly built a senior team of execs and advisors. The firm provides 'just-in-time' market intelligence based on interviews with 1,000 UK motorists each month. A week ago it acquired another Mancunian company, Factor Sales, which collects transaction data from motor factors, aggregates and anonymises it to provide suppliers with market intelligence driving pricing decisions, branch benchmarking, stock choices and growth strategies.

Penny worked as Sales Director of Factor Sales until three years ago and already serves as a member of Automotive Insight's Advisory Board - he will now work to support innovation in Factor Sales solutions.
