In Utrecht, The Netherlands, MR firm DVJ Insights has announced the appointment of long-time MetrixLab and Toluna exec Jolique Weelink as Global Commercial Director, responsible for developing and implementing global commercial strategy and driving international growth.
DVJ specialises in brand, communication, innovation and shopper research, and has offices across Europe, including the UK, Germany, Spain, Norway, Denmark, Sweden and the Netherlands. The firm combines advanced data science, creative research design and strategic consultancy to help brands achieve measurable growth, and in May hired retail research and innovation consultant Nicola Ball to strengthen its UK shopper offer.
Weelink (pictured) joined MetrixLab in 2007, and rose over fifteen years to Global Head of Technology, Innovation and Consultancy, from where she was promoted three years ago to the C-Suite as Toluna's Chief Insight Officer, overseeing platform and solution strategy, innovation, data science, and quality. DVJ says the experience gives her 'a broad view of developments within the market research industry and what they mean for clients', and believes she will play 'an important role in the firm's next growth phase.'
MD Marieke van Echtelt comments: 'Jolique brings extensive experience in driving international growth, building strong client relationships, and providing strategic leadership in an international setting. Her strategic thinking, commercial focus, and ability to turn ambitions into action fit well with DVJ and our future goals.'
