Online Fieldwork Division for Tpoll

London-based research agency Tpoll Market Intelligence has launched a new division - Tpoll Direct - to focus on online fieldwork and reporting. The division will manage the whole data preparation and collection process from questionnaire design to sampling, project management and reporting.

Tpoll has been conducting online research since it first formed in 1999. The company's founder and new MD of Tpoll Direct Mark Ursell says the new division will 'take advantage of the rapid growth taking place in the online fieldwork sector'.

Ursell will be assisted by Account Manager Guy Wates. Wates has worked in the media departments of TNS and NOP, and more recently has been working for a small agency where he has acquired most of his online experience. He will be the day-to-day client services contact.

The division will use FIRM's Confirmit software to design Internet-based surveys, and has established a network of sample providers who own pan-European panels.

Tpoll Market Intelligence will continue to focus on ad-hoc research, customer journey tracking and online panels under the guidance of MD Tom Fitzherbert and Research Director Barry Noble.
