Miles to Drive Polk's Data Acquisition

Automotive research specialist R. L. Polk & Co. has hired Alice Miles as Vice President, Global Data Acquisition. She was previously Director, Corporate Business Strategy for Ford Motor Company.

Miles, who has nearly 30 years' experience in automotive supply chain management and information technology, will report to Pat Barrett, Senior Vice President - Business Development, Government Relations and Legal Services. At Ford, Miles led global and regional business studies, managed competitive research of global automotive markets and developed board-level strategic plans. From 2000-2002 she was also co-CEO of Covisint, an automotive industry Internet exchange. Her numerous awards include Crain's Detroit Business Newsmakers of the Year and inclusion in the Automotive News 100 Leading Women, both in 2000.

Barrett says Miles bring key assets to the company in her skills in thought leadership, global business strategy development and the creation of data-driven automotive solutions.
