Pulse Panellists Invited to Chat

December 13 2006

Research Process Outsourcing (RPO) company Pulse Group has added social networking features to its 'Planet Pulse' online panel community, in line with the explosive growth of sites like MySpace and Bebo. Members in twenty countries can now interact with each other via a live forum feature.

Pulse says it is planning the launch of a series of other interactive functions. The online forum will be rolled out in phases to ensure the approach in each country reflects cultural differences.

COO Kym Wong says the launch 'is timely in this fast evolving world of peer-to-peer, user-generated content, and social networking. We need to ensure that our members continue to enjoy, engage, and interact with our services, and hence providing them with relevant and useful tools is of the utmost importance'. According to CEO Bob Chua, the site's continuing evolution will not only serve to create the right 'viral buzz' for Planet Pulse but more generally to 'move the industry in the right direction'.

Planet Pulse is an online community of survey respondents throughout Asia Pacific and the Middle East, with panellists extensively profiled on both B2C and B2B criteria. Pulse also offers online data collection, survey programming, data processing and analysis and MR translations. The firm's home page is at www.pulse-group.com .
