Bureau Option for Text Mining Tool

June 11 2007

Text analysis specialist Clarabridge has introduced a Content Mining Service (CMS), making the functionality of its existing CMP software available as a service purchased online. The firm claims it is the first 'software-as-a-service' (SaaS) offering of its kind.

The software has been designed to enhance feedback from market research, customer care, product development, quality assurance and risk management. It enables clients to convert textual information – such as survey verbatims, online product reviews and call-centre transcripts – into actionable business intelligence and is available via the Internet on a subscription basis.

Sid Banerjee, CEO and Co-founder of Clarabridge said: 'Our SaaS offering is ideal, for example, for the individual department within a business that wants to immediately improve decision-making and competitive positioning by quickly adopting text mining.'

Headquartered in Reston, Virginia, Clarabridge announced the launch of the Release 2.2 version of its Content Mining Platform™ in March (www.mrweb.com/drno/news6597.htm ). The firm is online at www.clarabridge.com .
