QL2 Introduces Marketing Intelligence Services

In Seattle, QL2 Software has introduced four new market intelligence services designed to help marketers make 'faster and better' business decisions about products, pricing, competitive positioning and consumer opinions and preferences.

The suite of services, which is delivered in real-time over the Internet, include:

  • PriceTrack - aids competitive pricing decisions by gathering pricing and promotional information from various public sources
  • ProductMix - helps merchandising decisions using Internet-based sources to capture how retailers categorise, display and present product offerings
  • MarketScape - captures and organises news, web site information, regulatory and other market content to provide a real-time view of competitors
  • MarketVoice - collects and organises user-generated content found on blogs and social networks.
The services also feature a dashboard that allows customised pre-defined reporting, data visualisation and graphics.

CEO Glenn Hasen said that the magnitude of external information that a marketer has to sift through and analyse to make decisions is completely overwhelming. 'The new services give marketers key information that helps answer fundamental questions, allowing them to make more informed, more accurate and faster business decisions.'
