London-based communications research agency MESH Planning has hired Erminia Blackden as Planning Director, to work on a number of client projects, including for new client O2.
For the six years prior to joining, Blackden was Planning Director at communications agency Draft FCB where she was responsible for financial services, retail, and publishing clients. During the previous eight years, she worked in account planning as Media Planner Buyer for Klein Grey, CIA Direct and Media Solutions.
Managing Partner Fiona Blades commented: 'Our firm relies on the combination of experienced researchers and account planners to deliver the depth and breadth of insights at both a qual and quant level. Erminia's experience will prove invaluable in bridging the gap between qual and quant and developing new client relationships.'
MESH Planning was founded last year by Blades and Stephen Phillips, and has since developed a new approach to tracking integrated campaigns called Touchpoints Return on Investment (TROI). The firm is part of the 38th Floor Unlimited group of companies that also includes Spring Research, and is online at www.meshplanning.com.
Last month, Anna Wills joined the company as Account Director, supporting new clients Sony and Orange ( www.mrweb.com/drno/news7508.htm ).
