Polk Names Aftermarket Specialist

In the US, automotive research agency RL Polk has hired Mark Seng as VP - Aftermarket and Commercial Vehicle, to strengthen the group's expansion in these two markets.

Prior to joining, Seng was Senior Manager of Ecommerce & Electronic Data Services at automotive product supplier Federal-Mogul, where he was previously Director in charge of vehicle and original equipment research and cataloguing for all product lines.

Seng is a past President of the National Catalog Managers Association, and is involved in the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association and the Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Association. In his new role he will report to SVP-Strategic Markets Mary McDonnel, who comments: 'Mark brings great knowledge to the team with his more than 20 years of experience. We will immediately involve him in strategic planning to grow our products and services.'

The company was founded in Detroit in 1870 and has operations in Australia, Canada, China, Japan France, Germany, Spain and the UK. Web site: www.polk.com.
