Bango to Measure Mobile Web Behaviour

February 8 2008

Web technology firm Bango has launched a new product to capture, analyse and measure mobile specific data about web site visitors.

Bango Analytics has been developed to show how people interact with mobile sites, providing site owners with information on which marketing campaigns are most effective across different search marketing and advertising channels.

Using unique identification technology, the system records and presents detailed data on the overall patterns of traffic visiting a mobile site, right down to the behaviour of individual users. 'It's not enough simply to measure how many visits you get to your mobile site; you need a deeper understanding of what those visitors are doing,' explains CEO Ray Anderson.

Anderson says the new solution makes it easy to add tags into a mobile site to identify traffic from advertising campaigns and search keywords to determine the return on investment from each campaign.

Founded in 1999, Bango profiles millions of users browsing the mobile web across hundreds of networks worldwide. With offices in the US, UK, Spain and Germany, the firm is online at www.bango.com.
