'Poll The Nation' Tool Launched

In the US, opinion polling and message testing firm Capital Earnings & Research has launched a new forecasting model which it claims can 'poll the nation' and produce 'conclusive results' in 4 hours or less within a 4% margin of error. It has also promoted H. Richard Oprinski to the post of CEO.

H. Richard OprinskiThe new 'community quickshot' platform is the result of an algorithmic process the company developed to speed up results and accuracy of national opinion polls.

Oprinski told DRNO the system uses a database to send questions via e-mail to a representative sample of respondents who are guaranteed to reply instantly with their opinion. 'We feel that we are the only firm with this type of rapid response capability because of current technology,' he added.

Oprinski's career has taken him to Europe, the Middle East and Asia on global assignments. He joined the firm in March as Chief Investment Officer, having previously served as EVP of the Business Consulting Group. He is a regular speaker at industry events, the author of 'Customer Service, The Strategy for the 2000s', and is known for bringing the 'perception analysis' analytical marketing tool - commonly known as 'dial testing' - to the corporate boardroom. Oprinski has an MBA from Vanderbilt University.

Under Oprinski's 'five year planned solution', the company says it is expecting to grow by 55% in the first year and 35% thereafter.

In addition to polling, Capital Earnings & Research targets consumer language for TV and radio ads, surveys, conference/earnings calls, legal arguments and PR.
