Launch of Legends Promises WOM Insights

In the UK, relationship marketing group Hicklin Slade & Partners (HS&P) has launched Legends; a multi-channel word-of-mouth (WOM) agency which aims to 'create on- and offline consumer conversations' for brands.

Justin HicklinThe Legends team will develop these conversations with 'influencers' within any sector or market, after which, it will analyse these 'consumers' worlds, experiences and conversations' to create brand stories which they hope the influencers will be keen to spread.

The team will then measure the impact WOM has had on individuals, brands and businesses.

HS&P's Founder and CEO Justin Hicklin will extend his duties to head up the new company. 'We are in a unique position to deliver the next generation of word of mouth marketing - partly because we understand consumer relationships - but more than that, we know how to target and measure these engagements,' he stated.

Established in 1998, London-based HS&P now offers creative, planning and client service functions. In 2008, the firm launched its specialist CRM division, The Loyalty Practice; and data.HS&P, its data planning and data management consultancy.
