TDMG Creates Mature Market Specialist

In the UK, The Direct Marketing Group (TDMG) has transformed its Millennium 'mature consumer' marketing agency into a specialist market research and consultancy firm.

The move is part of a series of restructures within the group, which it says will enable each of its individual companies - Millennium, DMPrint, DMS, Whitewater & JDA - to focus on core strengths while enhancing its overall ability to offer fully integrated marketing solutions.

Millennium's Research and Planning Department conducts quant and qual research and the firm carries out monthly surveys among its own e-panel of around 10,000 mature surfers. In addition, it has access to 40 million individuals' records covering UK lifestyle, life-stage and behavioural data.

The new firm will be headed by Kevin Lavery, one of TDMG's original founders and currently President of the International Mature Marketing Network (IMMN), the worldwide organisation of mature consumer insight. The firm plans to add new mature market consultancy services.

Founder and CEO Martin Smith comments: 'The restructure will allow Millennium to focus purely on offering bespoke mature marketing consultancy and continue to build the research arm for the mature market.'
