360Ý Brand Assessment Tool Rolled Out

US strategic consultancy Brand Counsel has launched a new assessment tool to help companies evaluate the value and relevancy of their corporate and product branding strategies.

The firm says its new BrandScope tool provides a '360 degree assessment' of all constituents that impact a corporate or product brand, including competitors, clients, employees, investors, trade press, recruiters and industry analysts.

Primarily a qualitative tool, it identifies where a company's branding strategy is deficient with its target audiences, benchmarks brand equity, and establishes goals to improve brand communications.

'With a good branding strategy in place, companies can boost revenue and create a brand preference by clearly communicating their core strengths through smart product names, taglines, logos and more,' said Jeff Gregory, Chief Brand Strategist. 'BrandScope helps companies reach their optimal branding strategy.'
