TRA Names New President and COO

In New York, media market research firm TRA Inc has appointed Bob Meyers as President and Chief Operating Officer, to focus on reinforcing and growing its relationships with broadcast and cable networks.

Bob MeyersTRA Inc (True ROI Accountability for Media) maintains a database of 1.5 million households of TV set top box data and 54 million households of purchase data. Through its patent-pending platform, Media TRAnalytics, the firm matches the ads that people actually receive with the products they actually buy.

Meyers, who has served on the company's Advisory Board for the past six months, brings more than 30 years' media experience to his new role.

During his career, he spent 19 years at NBC Universal and eight years at Viacom. He left Playboy Enterprises just six months ago, after spending three years as President for Media and EVP of the company. Prior to this, Meyers was EVP of Digital Media, Data and Video at Westwood One and was on the Board of DoubleClick. He began his career at NBC Sports.
