Evidon Appoints First COO

In New York, former Forrester Research exec Emily Riley has joined digital marketing intelligence company Evidon as its first Chief Operating Officer.

Emily RileyEvidon (formerly known as The Better Advertising Project) develops technology to help clients comply with privacy laws, and offer consumers transparency into and control over how their information is used online.

Riley (pictured) joins from behavioral targeting technology firm Audience Science, where as VP, Product & Marketing, she led the company's repositioning from an ad network to a data management and media-buying platform. She worked as an analyst at Jupiter prior to its acquisition by Forrester Research in 2008, after which she led Forrester's Interactive Marketing research business as VP and Research Director.

In her new role, Riley will lead the go-to-market strategy for enterprise products on the Evidon Labs platform.
