Acxiom Sells 2Touch Call Centre Business

June 2 2014

Enterprise data and analytics company Acxiom has sold its UK call centre outsourcing operation 2Touch, to European business process outsourcing provider Parseq. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Acxiom Sells 2Touch Call Centre BusinessSunderland-based 2Touch boasts a 1,000-seat contact centre providing inbound and outbound phone services for surveys and questionnaires, mail order and fulfilment, and charity fundraising. The company employs around 750 staff, and in fiscal 2014 generated revenue of around $35.3m.

Acxiom CEO and President Scott Howe says the deal will allow Acxiom to focus on its core activities, including its 'vision of enabling one-to-one targeted marketing at scale across all channels and devices' - as well as 'allowing 2Touch to realize its potential under a company dedicated to business process outsourcing'.

Parseq says it has acquired 2Touch as part of its strategy to create a business with a £100m turnover in three years. The combined organisation will employ around 2,700 people, working from five sites in Sunderland, Glasgow, Rotherham, London and Brighton.
