Xaxis Names Japan Country Manager

WPP's audience profiling and targeting division Xaxis has appointed Sawato (Stephan) Yoshii as Country Manager for Japan, with responsibility for business development, partnerships and publisher relations.

Sawato (Stephan) YoshiiXaxis was formed in 2011, to bring together WPP's global ad buying capabilities with a colossal database, and offer clients the 'world's largest pool of audience profiles'. The division now combines proprietary technology, unique data assets and exclusive media relationships with a team of audience analysts, data scientists and software engineers, and currently works with more than 2,700 clients across 33 markets in North America, Europe, Asia Pacific and Latin America.

Yoshii (pictured) joins from Dentsu affiliated e-marketing firm Opt, where as Director, Global Business Development he led client services and business development efforts for the agency's programmatic operations. Earlier, he served in marketing and business development roles at BBFM and Celsys.
