Merkle Partners to Offer Better Personalization

December 15 2014

Data driven CRM firm Merkle has announced a partnership with customer experience management software firm Sitecore, allowing its clients to personalize digital experiences for their customers in real time.

Sitecore says its experience platform seamlessly combines web content management with customer intelligence to engage 'every customer at every touchpoint'. Merkel says the deal will help its clients understand their customers and serve them the ideal experience; and will boost its own technology infrastructure and backend analytic insight capabilities. Justin Stayrook, the firm's VP, Experience Technology, comments: 'I'm excited about our partnership with the top-tier experience management company, Sitecore, which enhances Merkle's ability to deliver personalized experiences that can be analyzed and optimized in real time.'

For Sitecore, Vice President, Global Partnerships and Alliances Dominic Citino says the firms working in partnership are 'uniquely positioned to stretch what's possible in terms of delivering highly personalized and optimized experiences across channels to every individual.'

Merkle recently acquired San Francisco-based loyalty solutions provider 500friends, for an undisclosed sum; and in September strengthened its personalization offer with the appointment of Zimm Zimmerman as Personalization Solution leader, as well as Yaakov Kimelfeld as Chief Research Officer, Digital Media and Karima Zmerli to lead digital data strategy. The firm has more than 2,100 employees, with headquarters in Columbia, Maryland and offices in 13 other US cities as well as London and Shanghai. Its home page is at www.merkleinc.com .
