Kantar Extends Romanian TV Audience Contract

Kantar Media has extended its contract providing TV audience measurement in Romania, until the end of 2019. The win follows a competitive tender process by ARMA, the country's television joint industry committee, and comes three years to the month after the current contract began.

This is the first time ARMA (Asociatia Romana pentru Masurarea Audientelor) has awarded a fixed meter TV ratings contract to an incumbent supplier. The organisation's President Lucia Antal says Kantar Media 'proved to have a robust, futureproof sampling and panel management proposal' which would help in 'allowing the measurement of ever more accurate TV consumption data.'
