Phoenix Marketing International Strengthens US Team

US research agency Phoenix Marketing International (PMI) has appointed Ina Mier y Terán Sheppard as SVP and Managing Director of Qualitative Research, while Olivia Ester joins as Vice President of Financial Services.

Founded in 1999, PMI offers a range of consulting services such as syndicated research, database analytics and modelling proficiency for clients in the financial, CPG, auto, travel and leisure, and healthcare sectors.

Mier y Terán Sheppard previously owned and managed her own market research agency I N A Research, before which she worked at C&R Research, helping to launch the firm's LatinoEyes division. She also held senior roles at Market Development Inc. and KRC Research and Consulting. In her new position, reporting to Neal Chambliss, President of Custom Financial Services, she will work directly with the Financial Services group, and also collaborate with other PMI teams across multiple disciplines.

Ester joins from Nielsen's Innovation Practice, where she most recently served as an SRE. Before this, she managed the Primary Research division at DigitasLBi, was a Market Research Analyst at The New England Journal of Medicine, and a Research Associate at Forrester Research. At PMI, Ester will report to Lane Mann, President Syndicated Research, and oversee further development of key client accounts, while focusing on the enhancement of syndicated programs.
