IRI Brings In Former P&G / L'Oreal Exec

Former Procter & Gamble and L'Oreal exec Ignacio Marinas Monsalve has joined retail and healthcare data giant IRI as Vice President of Strategy International, based in the firm's Paris office.

Monsalve (pictured) joins with more than fifteen years' marketing and commercial experience gained at P&G, L'Oréal and Nokia. He also worked in private equity, heading business development and M&A projects, and as Managing Partner of M.Power Consulting, assisting companies with business transformation through innovation. During his career, he has lived and worked in Germany, Switzerland, Mexico, Ireland, Spain and France.

In his new role, reporting to IRI President of International José Carlos González-Hurtado, Monsalve will lead cross-functional teams across the organization, work on corporate strategy and development, partnerships and M&A activities, as well as business and financial planning.

Commenting on the appointment, González-Hurtado said: 'Ignacio's experience in marketing and brand development, having worked for major manufacturers like Procter & Gamble and L'Oreal, will be crucial as IRI continues to develop its services and solutions. It is also part of our bigger plan to bring the very best people on board, following the arrival of a number of new senior hires across Europe'.
