Merkle Expands Retail & Consumer Goods Practice

Data driven CRM firm Merkle has promoted Mark Guenther and hired Alex Kooluris as Vice Presidents in its Retail & Consumer Goods practice.

Mark Guenther and Alex KoolurisGuenther has spent the last eight years at Merkle, most recently as VP Business Development. Earlier, he held the same job title at tech firm Cognitive Data (later acquired by Merkle), and before this, he worked for Acxiom as Financial Leader of the Emerging Markets vertical. In his new role, Guenther will focus on the speciality retail, restaurant, and small-medium sized business portfolios.

Kooluris joins with more than fifteen years' retail and CPG industry experience, most recently from marketing agency Epsilon, where he worked for more than six years, latterly as VP, General Manager. Prior to this he held senior account supervisory roles at Saatchi & Saatchi Healthcare, and Cline Davis & Mann. At Merkle, he will be responsible for helping retail and consumer goods companies identify and use consumer insights to drive business growth.
