Lights Up on West Coast for Illumination

Qual and quant full-service US agency Illumination Research is opening an office in San Francisco, and has appointed Brad Weiss to lead the expansion of its West Coast Operations.

Brad WeissWeiss, who takes the title of Senior VP - West Coast Operations, will provide current and new clients with expertise in research design, capability development and moderating / facilitating. He brings nearly twelve years of research experience from both client and supplier sides, most recently from MarketVision Research where as Research Director and then VP, his role ranged from client development and qualitative innovation to moderation, as well as leading the social listening practice.

Prior to this, he worked in Procter and Gamble's Consumer and Market Knowledge organization with roles that spanned across consumer, shopper, and word of mouth marketing. Earlier, Weiss co-owned and operated 3 Subway franchises in the Cincinnati area. He holds a BS in Marketing with an Entrepreneurship Minor from Miami University.

Illumination founder and CEO Karri Bass says the expansion builds on the company's significant growth this year and is part of its overall strategy combining geographic expansion with the launch of 'a stream of innovation'. She concludes: 'We couldn't be more confident in Brad's ability to lead our West Coast business!'
