Voxpopme Debuts Video Feedback App in Aus

UK-based mobile video market research specialist Voxpopme is rolling out its on-demand mobile app in Australia.

Dave CarruthersLaunched in 2013 by Dave Carruthers (pictured) and Andrew Barraclough, Voxpopme's smartphone app can be used to add video questions to quant surveys and allows consumers to provide direct video feedback on brands. In addition, the platform offers features such as sentiment analysis to determine the attitude of the respondent.

Last October, Research Now co-founder Andrew Cooper and the firm's former Chairman Geoff Westmore led a $1.5m investment in Voxpopme. Companies across Australia can already use the platform to add open-ended video questions into any survey, but Voxpopme says the addition of the mobile app will provide access to fast turnaround video research from its Australian community. Using the tool, clients can now target this community to run video net promoter score campaigns, ad testing, ethnographies and more, to capture short selfie-style video responses.

Commenting on the expansion, Carruthers says: 'Many of our services including video integration into surveys and powerful analysis tools have been available globally for some time, but the opportunity to provide an instant feedback community for companies in Australia is an exciting new way to deliver powerful video insights to the region'.
