In London, digital marcoms group Next15 has launched a data collection agency called Viga, led by former Research Now exec Lewis Reeves.
Next15, which earlier this year, acquired the remaining 25% stake in brand market research and advisory consultancy Morar, owns fifteen marketing businesses specialising in communications, programmatic ad technology, digital content marketing, policy communications, creative, investor relations, and market research, along with a marketing software business called agent3.
Viga will be based on London's Bermondsey Street, and will also have resources based in the US. Alongside Reeves (pictured), the management team is made up of Director of Operations Pete Flower, previously Director of Community Development and Innovation at Verve, and Head of Development Tom Birtchnell, who joins from CBS Outdoor.
Peter Harris, CFO at Next15, comments: 'Now more than ever data collection needs to keep pace with brand momentum and we spotted a gap in the sector for quick, insightful data delivered cost effectively. In Viga we have data at our fingertips to provide reliable results almost instantly. With his flair for insight and innovative thinking, Lewis was our first choice to spearhead Viga, and we were able to cherry pick his senior team based on technical expertise and depth of experience'.
