Interpret Launches Week One Player Churn Research Tool

August 23 2017

In Los Angeles, entertainment, media and tech specialist Interpret has developed a mobile research solution called 'Week One', to help gaming companies improve their player retention rates.

Michael CaiInterpret provides a variety of marketing research and analysis products to help clients gain an understanding of consumer gaming habits. The new 'Week One' has been developed to measure and predict mobile game success and understand churn rates, which the firm says often exceed 70%. Using the tool, mobile developers can identify problem areas and make changes on the fly, to retain and better monetize users.

President Michael Cai (pictured) comments: 'Traditional mobile game research methodologies reveal the 'what' but not the 'why' behind the problem. Our clients had user data that identified a symptom but didn't explain the root cause. Week One provides mobile game developers with real-time feedback during beta or immediately post-launch, enabling them to react more quickly to potential issues driving churn'.
