UK-based online research specialist FlexMR has opened an office in South Carolina, where it has appointed industry exec Lindsay Smith in the role of Client Development, US.
Headquartered in the Lake District, FlexMR was launched by research company Intersperience in 2013, to provide mix-and-match tools 'to suit any budget'. The firm offers a fully integrated qual and quant SaaS online and mobile research platform, and a multi-language software product supported by its insight professionals.
The new office adds to the firm's existing presence in the UK, Germany and Spain. Smith (pictured) joins after brief stints in senior business development roles at sampling and data collection provider Critical Mix, and research technology and services group FocusVision. Before this, she served as Strategic Account Director at DIY market research solution GutCheck, and she held senior roles at concept testing and forecasting software developer Affinova and shopper targeting firm Valassis.
In 2017, 40% of FlexMR's revenue will be generated from international clients based overseas, and half of this international revenue will be sourced from North American clients. FlexMR CEO Paul Hudson comments: 'With seventeen research tools to choose from, clients can select their research service requirements according to project, customer panel or insight community requirements. Our growing global client base welcomes this degree of control and we are delighted with the business growth attributed'.
