IRI Names EVP in Media Center of Excellence

In the US, consumer data giant IRI has appointed former GroupM Analytics CEO/CDO Harvey Goldhersz as Executive Vice President, Data and Innovation in the firm's Media Center of Excellence.

Harvey GoldherszGoldhersz (pictured) joins with more than two decades of experience in media and data. Most recently, he was Chief Data Officer and CEO of GroupM Analytics, responsible for ensuring that clients and agencies were equipped with the data and analytics capabilities to support their insights, strategy and media investment decisions. Before this he served as Vice Chairman, North America CEO and Worldwide COO of MediaCom, where he oversaw analytics, research, digital media, planning and strategy. Earlier, he founded and served as CEO of MediaCom Digital and CEO of Beyond Interactive.

In his new role, Goldhersz will be responsible for using the latest data and artificial intelligence techniques to improve the way brands communicate with their consumers, while expanding IRI's partner ecosystem by establishing relationships with media data partners.
