AnalogFolk Hires Unilever Exec to Lead Data Intelligence

In London, former Unilever exec Clare Salter has joined independent digital creative agency AnalogFolk as Managing Partner - Data Intelligence.

Clare SalterThe company uses digital technology to help brands deliver innovative ideas and design experiences around consumers' needs. Salter (pictured) joins from Unilever, where she latterly served as Senior Manager - Global Data & Analytics/Consumer Marketing Insights, charged with helping to establish the 'People Data Centres' through which the company builds one-to-one relationships with consumers. Prior to this, she worked for Havas Worldwide's customer engagement agency Havas helia as Client Solutions Strategist.

In her new role, Salter will lead the data intelligence capability, while helping clients drive growth and transformation through data intelligence strategies that combine insight, creativity and innovation. Following her appointment, the agency's Global Chief Data Officer Mark Barry will be tasked with continuing to build the intelligence capabilities in the firm's offices in the US, Asia and Australia.

Salter reports to MD Ete Davies, who comments: 'I'm very excited to have Clare on board and leading Data Intelligence services. Clare's role is pivotal in how we use data to acutely understand our clients' business context, their associated challenges and opportunities, to help drive genuinely transformative creativity, while ensuring we return business value'.
