Fiftyfive5 Names Melbourne Leaders

Australian insights consultancy Fiftyfive5 has announced that Kristy Richards and Matt Pearce will lead its Melbourne business.

Fiftyfive5 was launched in 2010 by three former Directors of The Leading Edge: Karen Phillips, Mark Sundquist and Darren Kemp. Last year, the firm merged with brand development and consumer insights agency GalKal.

Richards joined earlier this year, after working at The Lab - Strategy & Planning as Strategy Director, prior to which she spent nearly a decade at Kantar-owned Added Value, latterly as Associate Director - Brand. Pearce was previously Planning Director at Clemenger BBDO Melbourne, before which he worked at GalKal and The Leading Edge.

Alongside the new Directors, Fiftyfive5 has recently expanded its qual, quant and consulting capability with its latest hires Matthew Scott, Thomas Barbera and Charlie Rose Mitton. Richards comments: 'With Tom, Charlie and Matt joining Anna, Deepshikha, Jemimah and Laura, we have some of the best research talent in Melbourne which is already translating to strong growth for the business'.
