Kantar Public Buys Lithuania's PPMI

Public policy evidence and advisory business Kantar Public has acquired European policy research and consultancy company PPMI, which is based in Vilnius, Lithuania. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.

Haroldas Bro&ztilde;aitis and Michelle HarrisonPPMI is a partner to many EU and international institutions, to whom it provides insights developing shared understanding among key stakeholders, and enabling policy implementation. The firm conducts complex field research, ranging from hundreds of interviews over several months to international surveys with tens of thousands of respondents; and it employs a wide variety of methods in data mining and analysis to drive evidence. PPMI has more than 100 in-house researchers from twenty countries and from a range of disciplines, including political science, economics, sociology, philosophy, mathematics, computer science and physics.
