B2B Firm Adience Promotes Two and Hires Head of Growth

May 8 2025

B2B insights consultancy Adience has appointed Lynsey Showman as Head of Growth; and has promoted James Keeling to SVP and Sally Watts to VP.

Lynsey ShowmanThe firm was launched in New York City five years ago by former Circle Research exec Chris Wells, and within two years had added a London office. Adience prides itself on being 'modern, flexible and client-centric', providing tailored, actionable research for clients worldwide, and says revenue more than doubled in the UK in 2024, while increasing by more than 20% in the US.

The expansion of its leadership team is intended to support this increased demand, and deepen its commercial capabilities. Showman (pictured) joined Basis as Head of Quantitative Research in 2012, having previously worked substantial spells as Head of Quant at 2CV and earlier as an exec at Research International. For the last five years plus, she has been Basis' Head of Business Development.

In her new role, Showman will be responsible for identifying and partnering with new clients looking for specialist B2B research excellence, working closely with the teams in the US & UK.

Both Keeling and Watts have played instrumental roles in shaping Adience's client offering and culture, according to the firm. MD Wells comments: 'Our growth over the past year has been driven by a sharp focus on solving complex challenges for B2B brands, and it's been matched by growing demand for our insights expertise across sectors and markets. These appointments position us to scale sustainably, while ensuring we stay close to what matters - delivering real value to our clients. I'm proud to welcome Lynsey and to recognise James and Sally's outstanding contributions as we move into our next chapter.'
