London-headquartered news and media monitoring, analysis and reputation management specialist CARMA has opened its first office in Spain; and has announced a customized dashboard tool, Widget Studio, for PR and communications teams looking to create their own high quality data visualizations.CARMA provides clients with what it calls 'local context at an international scale', and its 650 employees in 22 offices include in-market, native speaker consultants for 'just about every country and language'.
Widget Studio allows users to build a wide range of widgets and charts using their existing datasets, customize visuals and preview them in real time - and features a set of prebuilt templates including Simple, Competitor Comparison, Audience Insights and Integrated Channel Analytics. CARMA says it will shortly be adding advanced comparison tools, third-party data integrations and more prebuilt widgets including AI-insights and live broadcast streaming.
To drive its operations in Spain via the new Madrid office, CARMA has appointed Antonio Buades de Armenteras as Country Manager, supported by Filipe Manuel Pereira, General Manager Iberia, Latam and Sub-Saharan Africa. Buades brings 30 years of experience across media, hospitality and the distribution sector, including roles as Chief Sales Officer for Grupo Prisa in Latin America, Director of International Business at Prisa Radio and Commercial Director of Cadena SER.
Joining the Spanish team in sales and marketing roles are Noelia Moncho Rojo, appointed as Senior Business Developer Executive, and Pilar Jiménez, Marketing Executive for Iberia. , will support brand visibility and client engagement, ensuring CARMA's offerings resonate across sectors. Tim Webb (pictured), the company's CEO Europe and the Americas, says the move into Spain 'illustrates CARMA's mission to increase market share and to become the global leader in media intelligence.' He adds: 'Under the direct and very experienced management of Antonio Buades and Filipe Manuel Pereira, we are well-positioned to help Spanish businesses succeed with their reputation management and strategic decision-making.'
