Ipsos Brings PRS IN VIVO Packaging Suite to India

Ipsos is rolling out the packaging research solutions of recently acquired behavioural science firm PRS IN VIVO, in the Indian market, promising 'cutting edge' methods to help brands make smarter, shopper-centric decisions.

Anthony DsouzaIpsos completed its acquisition of PRS IN VIVO's parent, the BVA Family, in June, and immediately flagged up the former's packaging nous as 'a key global strength that can now be rolled out across a much larger geographic footprint by Ipsos.'

The new suite offers five core services: packaging design training programs and live workshops; guidance in reviewing categories, identifying distinctive brand assets, and enhancing creative breifs by linking them to shopper behaviour; helping marketers build the brief, based on a well-defined packaging strategy; screening and optimization to evaluate alternative designs and maximize visual and functional impact; and measurement of packaging performance against benchmarks and competitors before hitting the shelves.
