Remesh offers a hybrid insights platform allowing clients to talk to an audience of up to a thousand people, either live, asynchronous, or via video. The platform combines qual and quant questions, and can analyze responses and report on findings in real time.
The lawsuit, filed on September 16th in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York, cites Kantar Group Limited and its subsidiaries Kantar LLC and Kantar China. In the course of a customer relationship beginning more than nine years ago, Remesh says it shared confidential access to its software platform with Kantar, and that Kantar released unauthorized 'copycat' products in June 2025, on the Kantar Live, Kantar ART and Kantar ART AI platforms - in breach of federal intellectual property laws, as well as Kantar's contractual obligations to Remesh. The complaint also alleges that Kantar incorporated Remesh's proprietary software into at least one U.S. patent application.
Gary Ellis (pictured), CEO of Remesh, states: 'We filed this lawsuit to protect our valuable intellectual property and business interests. We are confident that the legal process will vindicate our position.'
Remesh, Inc., v. Kantar LLC, et al, is case 1:25-cv-07700.
