Radius Insights has launched a technology practice, Radius Tech, tapping the expertise it acquired with Illuminas North America in 2024, and offering specialist consultancy for product, brand, GTM and CX teams. Illuminas NA co-founder Carrie Angiolet will head up the new unit.
Radius was founded in 1960 as DDW, and has offices across the US and internationally. Its Brand Growth Navigator framework helps clients in sectors including tech, financial services and consumer goods to align insights with strategic priorities and maximize ROI. Three recent acquisitions have greatly expanded its operations: London's Strive Insight (recently rebranded as Radius EMEA); automotive-focused Michigan agency 7th Sense, and Austin, Texas-based Illuminas north America.
The firm says technology markets defy traditional research models because of long and complex buying cycles, more rapid innovation and more sophisticated buyers. The new division recognises this, integrating secondary, third-party and custom data with human expertise, AI and advanced analytics to extract real signal from noise and provide 'richer, more predictive insights.'
CEO Rob Wengel says the new division 'formalizes the deep technology expertise we've built over decades into a focused practice that helps tech companies cut through the noise and make insights move markets, minds and business decisions.' Angiolet (pictured), who is MD of the new division, comments: 'Tech companies don't follow the same playbook. 'As researchers by craft with deep technology expertise, we tailor every engagement to how tech actually works and deliver insights that teams across product, marketing, and customer experience can use to drive better decisions.'
