Reddit's Conversation Data to Feed Emplifi Fuel

Customer engagement and social media marketing platform Emplifi has announced an integration with social media platform Reddit, bringing data from 'the Internet's largest focus group' into Emplifi's intelligent execution engine, Fuel.

Ohad HechtVeteran social platform Reddit is enjoying a recent surge, growing rapidly to more than 443 million weekly active unique visitors, and 100,000+ active communities. The firm has taken steps in the last year to better exploit this huge 'reservoir of consumer intent', creating a solution for the financial services sector, and a suite of tools called Reddit Community Intelligence, and in August it appointed former Twitter and Samsung Ads researcher Robert Turnbull as Head of Insights for EMEA and Australia.

Emplifi was formed in 2021 from the merger of VoC platform Astute and social media monitoring and marketing specialist Socialbakers. The new integration sees the company using AI-powered analytics to analyze and synthesize aggregated conversation patterns from Reddit communities and develop aggregated insights to inform specific, recommended objectives and tactics that drive measurable business outcomes. These include real-time feedback on retail delivery experiences, pricing sensitivity and return policies, which Emplifi Fuel analyzes to help build Customer Experience (CX) playbooks; analysis of sentiment regarding new product launches and influencer campaigns, refined into content strategies and community tactics to refine CPG decisions; and data for fan engagement and support workflows about reactions to sporting news and events.
