Chilean Growth for KPO Firm

December 18 2009

KPO provider Evalueserve is expanding its operations in Chile. The company, which first opened in the country in 2006, says the expansion will meet current and anticipated customer demand as part of its global strategy.

The five-year expansion plan is expected to triple the existing tally of 150 people, reaching approximately 500 employees by 2014.

Evalueserve provides KPO (Knowledge Process Outsourcing) services including business research, market research, data analytics and knowledge technology services, via more than 2,000 professionals in research centers in India (Delhi-Gurgaon), China (Shanghai) and Romania (Cluj-Napoca), in addition to the Chilean office. It also gives access to over 20,000 execs in its Circle of Experts.

With a base in Chile, the company says it can diversify geographical risk, offer US daytime support and a 24x5 global delivery platform, service clients in Spanish and Portuguese, and provide overnight Asia coverage. Country Manager Mohit Srivastava praises the 'unparalleled business environment and government support' and adds: 'Based on the success of our operation in Valparaíso, we have decided to focus on making our Chilean operation a global center of excellence for data analytics and quantitative financial services.'
