SeeVolution Gets Funds for Web Usability Tool

Real-time web usability testing firm SeeVolution has closed a $530k round of angel financing, which it will use to develop new services, launch expanded service suites, and grow its sales and marketing function.

Edo CohenLaunched last September, SeeVolution offers live heatmap and simplified real-time analytics of web site traffic. Its heatmaps track clicks, mouse movements and scrolling from thousands of visitors, aggregates them and overlays them on the web page as they happen to show how people are interacting with the content. Some of the latest investment will be used to simplify the way this data is presented.

'Businesses need to know how well their sites are working with their audiences, and daily data is sometimes not enough to find out what is and isn't working with sales,' states co-founder and CEO Edo Cohen. 'As the only company with real-time, live heatmaps, SeeVolution users can see what is interesting and what is generating clicks to increase sales and help with redesigns to get the most out of the site.'
